Many people can cook Italian food but few can cook it well. Pepenero is a new Italian restaurant situated in East London’s dynamic Royal Docklands. We pride ourselves on our innovative and authentic Italian cooking. We use only fresh ingredients, which are where possible locally sourced and offer classic Italian dishes with the addition of a number of more modern house specialities. Our pizzas are based on traditional Neapolitan recipe but with the addition of exciting and innovative toppings. Italians never rush their food and we have created an environment which encourages you to take a long leisurely lunch or dinner. Walnut floors, subdued lighting, rich red fabrics and floor-to-ceiling windows create a cool and contemporary aesthetic without being austere.
