Home Jane is an all-female home improvement and property maintenance company, operating in London and Manchester. The company takes care of a range of jobs, large and small, tap changes and odd jobs to bathroom refits and full property refurbishments. Small jobs are done on an hourly or daily rate while larger projects are completed according to written estimates. The tradeswomen include decorators, plumbers, tilers, electricians, carpenters, plasterers and general handywomen. Home Jane takes pride in providing high-quality, reliable tradeswomen to undertake a variety of projects in homes and businesses. The company works to provide an alternative to traditional tradesmen and to ensure that clients are completely comfortable with the people working on their properties. The company was founded by Jo Behari. While having work done on her own property, Jo found herself uncomfortable with some of the tradesmen she had working in her home. After doing some research, she discovered how difficult it was to find tradeswomen and decided to create a one-stop-shop for clients interested in having women complete home improvement work. Home Jane's clients select the company for a number of reasons, from single women who are uncomfortable having a strange man in the house to those who want a trades person who will listen to them and communicate well to individuals - male and female - who are tired of unreliable cowboys and want to know that there projects will be completed properly. All of Home Jane's tradeswomen are fully qualified in their own fields. Home Jane works to match each job to an appropriate worker in order to ensure that clients receive a high-quality service.
